Even the graduates are hired by the conventional banks as Sharia advisors launch Riba free products and to hunt the religious segment of investors. The Mudarba companies are also engaging Islamic scholars for the smooth functioning of their sharia-based systems. The private and Public sector universities are initiating new disciplines of Islamic Economics and Islamic Banking & Finance and need of faculty is always there for learned persons.
Eligibility Criteria
MS/MPhil degree in the relevant Discipline. Relevancy shall be established by the Graduate Admission Committee. Minimum CGPA 3.00/4.00 (Semester System) OR First Division (Annual System) in MS/MPhil. University Entry Test / GAT Subject as per HEC criteria.

Degree Completion Requirements
A PhD candidate shall be awarded a degree on successful completion of the following requirements: Course Work with minimum CGPA 3.00/4.00 (18 Cr. Hrs.), Comprehensive Examination (written), Synopsis Defense, Research Work/Thesis (06 Cr. Hrs.), Thesis Foreign Evaluation as per HEC criteria, Oral Defense of Research Work/Thesis, Publication /Acceptance of at least one research paper as per HEC criteria.
