Dr. Hussain Ullah

Dr. Hussain Ullah earned his Ph.D. (under supervision/ tutelage of Prof. Dr. Amir Waseem) in Inorganic/Analytical Chemistry from Quaid-e-Azam University Islamabad, Pakistan in 2018. During his PhD, he joined research group of Prof. Dr. Robert Jams Baker at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland for six months. He is currently working as Assistant Professor (IPFP) at University of Okara, Okara, Pakistan. His research interests include; Inorganic materials like, Coordination Complexes, Organometallic (Organotin) derivatives for medicinal application, nanomaterials for CO2 adsorption, Dithiocarbamates for metal extraction from aqueous solutions (waste water treatment), phytoremdiation of heavy metals from the soil, water quality treatment, and monitoring, soil analysis, green chemistry. He is a member of Pakistan Journal of chemical society, has published more than 15 research papers, and presented his research at various international forums.
