Dr. Binish Khaliq

Binish Khaliq was joined University of Okara, Okara in 2021. Presently, she is working as Lecturer in the Department of Botany, University of Okara, Okara. She did her PhD from BZU, Multan and University of Hamburg, Germany in plant proteomics, she is working on isolation, purification, crystallization and 3D structural determination of proteins through X-ray crystallography and Small Angle X-ray Scattering (SAXS). Binish Khaliq served as Assistant Professor (Botany) in the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology (IMBB), University of Lahore, Lahore (Since January 2019 to 2nd December 2021) She has been awarded by HEC Indigenous Ph.D. fellowship in 2012-2016 and got International Research Support Initiative program (IRSIP) scholarship from HEC, Pakistan. University of Hamburg awarded Research fellowship on “Characterizing selected Plant Proteins” University of Hamburg, Hamburg, Germany, July 2015-November 2016. Binish Khaliq has the expertise's on Molecular structure determination of proteins by X-ray crystallography and Small Angle X-ray Scattering (SAXS). 2D-gelelectrophorsis, Electro blotting, Spectrophotometry, SDS-PAGE, Electro blotting, Protein purification, Anti-fungal assay, Cultivation and propagation of micro-organisms. Binish Khaliq has 27 publications and 47 impact factor in national and international journals in the field of Structural Biology and Biochemistry.
